These Customer Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain the rules, responsibilities, and limitations when you use our online platform to purchase furniture listed by independent local furniture makers and shops (“Sellers”).By accessing or purchasing through our Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Our Platform

Timetofurnish operates as a third-party marketplace.

This means:

  •     We do not own, manufacture, or produce any of the furniture listed.

  •     All products are sold directly by independent Sellers.

  •     We act only as a middle-party connecting customers and Sellers.

Because of this, we are not responsible for product quality, damages, missing parts, or any manufacturing or packaging issues.

2. Orders & Product Information

2.1 Product Descriptions

All product details, images, measurements, materials, and specifications are provided by the Sellers. We do not guarantee:

  •     Accuracy of product descriptions

  •     Colors, textures, or materials exactly matching photos

  •     Availability or stock upon purchase

2.2 Order Confirmation

Once an order is placed:

  •     You will receive an order confirmation email.

  •     The Seller is responsible for preparing the order and arranging delivery.

3. Damage, Missing Parts & Product Issues

3.1 Reporting an Issue

If you receive:

  •     A damaged item

  •     An item with missing parts

  •     An incorrect product

  •     A faulty item

You must report it to us within 14 days of delivery with photos and details.

3.2 Our Role

When a customer complaint is received, we will:

  •     Forward the complaint directly to the Seller, and

  •     Ask the Seller to respond or resolve the issue.

3.3 Important Disclaimer

We are not responsible for:

  •     Damages caused during delivery

  •     Faulty manufacturing

  •     Incorrect or incomplete products

  •     Replacement or refund decisions made by the Seller

The Seller alone is responsible for resolving product-related complaints.

4. Delivery & Shipping Issues

Delivery may be handled by:

  •     Sellers directly, or

  •     Third-party delivery partners

If an issue occurs during delivery:

(e.g., delay, lost parcel, delivery to the wrong address)

We will:


  •     Contact the delivery partner

  •     Forward your enquiry or complaint

However, we are not liable for:

  •     Delivery delays

  •     Damage caused in transportation

  •     Items lost in transit

We only assist by sharing the enquiry with the responsible delivery partner.

5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Because each Seller sets their own return and refund policies:

  •     All returns and refunds are subject to the Seller’s policy

  •     The Seller decides whether a refund, repair, or replacement is offered

  •     We cannot guarantee or enforce refunds

We can support communication, but have no obligation to offer compensation on behalf of Sellers.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  •     Provide accurate delivery information

  •     Inspect items upon delivery

  •     Report issues in a timely manner

  •     Follow the Seller's instructions for any return or claim

Failure to follow these steps may result in delays or denial of claims.

7. Platform Limitations

By using the Platform, you agree that:

8. Prices & Payments

Prices are set by Sellers, not by us. We may process payments securely on behalf of Sellers, but:

  •     Payment collection does not make us the Seller

  •     We are not responsible for pricing mistakes by Sellers

9. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate customer accounts for:

  •     Fraud

  •     Abusive behavior

  •     Misuse of refund requests

  •     Violating these Terms

10. Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes must be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
